Catholic Education Arizona (CEA) makes student scholarships possible for families in Arizona through a partnership with Arizona businesses.
CEA is a school tuition organization that is helping 37 Catholic schools in the Diocese of Phoenix. The organization partners with Arizona businesses to help provide scholarships to students at these schools, CEA reported.
"Your corporate tax liability can elevate a student now, helping them to exceed their academic potential, while laying understructure for our future workforce," Corporate Manager Christine Lorello said, CEA reported.
Any corporation filing under S, C, or as an LLC can be donated for the student scholarships, CEA reported.
"I know the good that it does to help families who want to have their children attend Catholic schools who wouldn't otherwise be able to attend. I personally have benefited immensely from receiving a K-12 Catholic education and want to help others have a similar experience," Lance Venable told CEA.
Venable has been using his tax credit for multiple years to help CEA supply scholarships to students.
The organization has helped more than 125,000 students and granted $235 million in scholarships within the 22 years it has been operating. The deadline for tax credit to be donated to CEA for scholarships is June 30.
