Salpointe Catholic High School has appointed Keith Gibalski to serve as the school's interim principal for two years.
The school's selection committee chose Keith Gibalski as the new principal with the approval of the school's board members, according to Salpointe Catholic High School.
"I am excited and honored to have the opportunity to help guide Salpointe Catholic High School,” Gibalski told the school. “It is comforting to have the Carmelite values of prayer, community, and service as the foundation for the future of this great school."
Kay Sullivan, president of the school, has worked with Gibalski the past few months. She said has done a great job so far upholding the values and mission of the school and shown trustworthy leadership.
“Mr. Gibalski has done an exceptional job over the past semester," Sullivan told the school. "Salpointe’s administration has certainly been tested these past few months and he has demonstrated strong leadership and impeccable judgment. He has earned the trust of both our Salpointe community as well as our Tucson Catholic community over the past 40 years, serving here at Salpointe for 22 years and at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic School for the previous 18 years.”
