Notre Dame Preparatory High School received seven ASU Gammage High School Music Theatre Awards nominations for the school's production of "Into The Woods," which students preformed in February. 

Five Notre Dame Prep students and a dance crew were named semi-finalists and the lighting crew was named a finalist, the school announced. 

The semi-finalists are: Bennet Curran for Best Lead Male; Olivia La Porte for Best Lead Female; Jacob Fevurly for Best Supporting Male; Kendall Luther for Best Supporting Female; Ruby Purcell for Best Vocalist and Act 2, with Mrs. Goudelis as choreographer, for Best Dance Ensemble.

The finalist is the lighting crew, with students Will Gettings, Peyton Matura and Lars Nordhagen.

"I'm so happy and proud of our students," Cecelia Henrich, NDP's drama instructor, told the school.

While the COVID-19 pandemic may prevent an in-person award ceremony, it won't stop the school from its annual tradition. Notre Dame Prep will celebrate its award ceremony for the seven nominees online this year.
