When COVID-19 caused the cancellation of the Brophy Preparatory School AP Studio students art gallery showing, their teachers made sure their works would still be seen by the public through a digital billboard.

Students of Jake Kelly, a 2009 graduate, and Cooper Davis, who graduated from Brophy in 2010, were scheduled for an exhibition in a local gallery this spring. But the coronavirus pandemic changed that, Brophy Preparatory School reported.

Kelly first planned an online art gallery with images of every students' artwork, and he created an online album on Flickr. But then he and Davis decided that a digital billboard would showcase their students' work to the entire area. These plans were the start of their Reclaim Project, the school reported.

Their artwork can be seen on a billboard at Seventh Street and Highland Avenue, with images changing every few seconds. The artwork can be seen as it appears displayed on the billboard in the Flickr album.
