Two graduating seniors at Notre Dame Preparatory High School who are described as exemplifying the school’s three pillars of “Reverence, Respect and Responsibility” are top students for the Class of 2020.

Sophie O’Shei is class valedictorian, and Logan Schipansky is the salutatorian, according to an announcement on the high school website.

Principal Jill Platt said that O’Shei and Schipansky “represent all that is good about Notre Dame Prep.”

Despite the school being closed because of COVID-19, Schipansky is among seniors who are working to showcase each member of the class of 2020 on Instagram.

Schipansky also is a National Hispanic Scholar, house captain for St. George House, and a member of the varsity football team.

A National Merit Finalist, O'Shei, has been president of Mu Alpha Theta (Math Honor Society) and captain of the Quiz Bowl team.

Notre Dame Preparatory is a Diocesan Catholic High School in Scottsdale, Arizona.
