A Chandler Catholic school continues its spirit of giving in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The outbreak caused schools all over Arizona, including Seton Catholic Prep, to shutter for the rest of the academic year. Seton’s Campus Ministry used what is a terrible situation to do some good, donating the snacks in its office to the Aris Foundation. The non-profit feeds and clothes homeless young adults in the East Valley.

“We are grateful for organizations like theirs who continue to meet the most basic needs of our community,” the school wrote on its Facebook page. “A big thank you to the Kairos 53 families who donated these snacks. Live the Fourth!”

Seton is under the auspices of the Diocese of Phoenix. Founded in 1954, it educates close to 600 students from preschool through 12th grade.
