Students and faculty at Bourgade Catholic High School in Phoenix, Arizona have joined together to help pay tuition for any families at the school dealing with a financial hardship due to COVID-19.

"Like most, the community of Bourgade Catholic High School is feeling the weight of the COVID-19 pandemic. As many of our parents and guardians consider the possibility, and in some cases the reality of being out of work during this trialing time, the opportunity for their child to continue receiving a Catholic education may no longer be available," the school announced on its Facebook page.

"The Keep the Dream Alive Scholarship Fund has been set up to serve as a support system for families whose employment has been affected by the COVID-19 virus leaving them with an inability to afford tuition for the 2020-2021 school year."

As of April 21, $1,330 has been raised for the scholarship.

"By making a gift, you are keeping the dream alive for students and their families. Thank you for keeping our community in prayer, and thank you for your support," the school's Facebook page stated.
