Although the IRS extended the deadline for filing your taxes, the tax credit deadline remains set at April 15 for your donations that support educational institutions like St. Anthony Catholic School in Show Low, Arizona.

The school asked families and friends to redirect their state taxes to the White Mountain Tuition Support Foundation. As revenues drop during the coronavirus closures and stay-at-home orders, the school will depend on these donations even more to help it stay open and continue to provide education to children.

"Through your generous financial support over the years, St. Anthony’s has been able to provide a quality education which forms the whole child-mind, body and soul," the school said in an announcement. "The vast majority of our students rely on scholarships and we are hoping to provide them in the coming school year with your much needed assistance in this time of the coronavirus."

St. Anthony Catholic School encourages parents to donate their tax credit to the school online or by sending a check to White Mountain Tuition Support Foundation. Parents can also call 928-521-3826 with their credit card.
