St. Bernadette Parish Scottsdale issued the following announcement on Nov. 25.

Advent is just around the corner and plans are being made for the Annual St. Bernadette Christmas Angel Tree Project & Party. This year’s party will be held on Saturday, December 12th. 

This year we have a unique opportunity to share hope, joy and the love of Christ with those who are suffering from not only financial poverty but from isolation and loneliness. 

We are currently looking for sponsors and leaders. If you are interested in underwriting some of the major general expenses for supplies or last minute purchases, please contact Shirley Smalley in the Parish Office. 

Virtual angels are available now. Hard copy angels will be handed out starting this weekend November 21st & 22nd. You can participate from the safety of your home by ordering a gift online and having it shipped to the Parish. You can also donate online through WeShare for a bike, a present, a gift card or as a general donation. Or you can sign-up or take an Angel, go shopping, and bring the gift to the Parish. 

There are so many ways to support this event. Help us to be the living spirit of Christmas to others.
