St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Yuma has been invited to help celebrate the 40th anniversary of priestly ordination for the Rev. Francis Iorkyaa Iber.

The celebration will be held on Dec. 19. Iber is the parish priest of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Gondozua, Logo Local Government Area, Benue State in Nigeria. The celebration will begin with Mass at 10 a.m. and a reception immediately following.

"As part of the celebration, [an] anniversary brochure will be produced," the Yuma church's Nov. 15 bulletin said. "You are most kindly requested to send a goodwill message to the celebrant for publication in the brochure."

The Central Planning Committee will take all goodwill messages received by Dec. 1 and send them to Iber. The bulletin also encouraged parishioners to send their own message to Fr. Iber regarding the celebration.

The bulletin noted that a formal invitation will be sent to the Yuma church soon.
