Most Holy Trinity Parish Phoenix issued the following announcement on Nov. 9

Jn 2:13-22

Jesus’ anger has more to do with misuse of power than the sale of the animals for sacrifice. The merchants are selling the animals at inflated prices beyond the means of the worshipers. The words Jesus speaks while driving out the merchants have a double meaning about not only the physical destruction of the temple but about his own death and resurrection.

We need holy ground on which to gather but it means nothing if we don’t understand the significance of communion with you and one another, the Body of Christ.
