Ordaination

Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish Glendale issued the following announcement on Nov. 5.

In a Spirit of Joy and Thanksgiving the Most Reverend Thomas J. Olmsted Bishop of Phoenix and Auxiliary Bishop Eduardo A. Nevares are pleased to announce the Ordination to the Permanent Diaconate of twelve new Deacons for the Diocese of Phoenix. Ordination is the sacramental ceremony in which Holy Orders are conferred. These twelve men will be ordained as Permanent Deacons, enabling them to minister in Christ’s name through the Church. The Rite of Ordination ceremony includes various rituals, rich in meaning and history.

Due to the physical distancing needed for an event like this, attendance at the Ordination Mass is by invitation only. To include the community, the Mass will be live streamed on Facebook and YouTube. Pray with us!
