St. Francis de Sales Parish in Tucson recently shared a message from the pastor about staying abreast of the latest parish news.
Fr. Richard Kusugh encouraged parishioners to sign up for the parish announcements in the event of special news or circumstances that require last-minute notification.
“Yes, we always have a bulletin on Sundays, but sometimes things come up or change within the week in between Sundays and there is no way to let you know— no way to get that information out to you in real time,” Kusugh said in the Oct. 11 parish bulletin.
Additionally, the parish decided that email and text notifications would be much more financially responsible than mailing letters and paying postage.
“So, to keep you posted and to help you be more involved in the daily life of the parish, we are inviting you to sign on through FLOCKNOTES as a way of staying in touch and involved with your beloved Saint Francis de Sales Parish and the Diocese of Tucson,” Fr. Kusugh stated.
