St. Benedict Parish Phoenix issued the following announcement on Oct. 21.

Thank you for continuing to bring in bottles of water for donation to the St. Vincent de Paul Water Truck, providing water to the homeless on the streets. Since the end of May we have been donating an average of 17 donated cases per week! They are so appreciative.

They will continue to collect water as long as the heat holds out, probably until the end of October. Keep up the good work!
