Saint Clare of Assisi Catholic Church issued the following announcement on Oct. 2.

Rev. Father Kieran Kleczewski -1950-2020

Fr. Kieran died today, September 30th after several months of illness. He was born 1950 in Green Bay, Wisconsin, and Ordained to the Priesthood for St. Meinrad Archabbey in Indiana, on April 30, 1978. He incardinated into the Diocese of Phoenix in 1997.

Fr. Kieran served at St. Joseph Parish in Phoenix, Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish in Scottsdale, Holy Trinity Newman Center in Flagstaff, San Francisco de Asis Parish in Flagstaff, All Saints Parish in Mesa, St. Thomas Aquinas Parish in Litchfield Park, St. Michael Parish in Gila Bend, St. John Vianney Parish in Sedona. Fr. Kieran also generously served as the Director of the Office of Worship from 2004-2020.

The funeral services are pending.

May God grant our brother Fr. Kieran a place in his Kingdom. Our Lady Queen of the Angels pray for him. St. John Vianney, pray for him, Venerable Padre Kino, pray for him.

May his soul and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.
