Our Lady of the Mountains and All Saints Catholic School in Sierra Vista recently welcomed TIm Krieski as a new deacon for the parish.
Krieski was ordained in 2001. He has had three previous assignments prior to coming to Sierra Vista, a note issued in the school's Aug. 16 bulletin said.
His first assignment was at Father Flanagan’s Boys Town in Omaha, Nebraska. He and his wife Janet worked as family teachers there after he was first ordained.
The Krieskes have been married for 35 years. They have lived previously in Oro Valley, Arizona, where he served at St. Mark the Evangelist Church. They also spent time in Saint David, where both of them worked for four-and-a-half years in the Holy Trinity Monastery.
His parents, Len and Teresa Krieski, who are buried in Mother Teresa’s Columbarium, were parishioners at Our Lady of the Mountains in the 1990s, the note stated.
