Our Lady of Joy Parish in Carefree is looking for those with a catechism – or those who lack one but want to find one – to join a weekly Google Meet.

The virtual event began on July 24 with people who want to share their gift.

“This is not for theology professors – this is for people who have been meaning to open this great gift of the Church for years, but have either never gotten around to it or find themselves intimidated by it,” the church announced on its website. “If you do not have a Catechism (you should get one but), you do not need one for the group. All sections we discuss will be read aloud.”

A gmail address is required to participate in the discussion. OLJP’s David Lins will send a link to the Meet. Only people with the link will be able to join.
