St. Patrick Catholic Community in Scottsdale recently announced three special summer youth programs being offered due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Bolt VBS for preschool- to elementary-age students “packs the fun of a traditional Vacation Bible School into a totally reimagined three-day Virtual Bible School for home use,” the church announced on its website.  “Our friendly, familiar St. Patrick staff hosts Zoom meetings each week to connect with everyone.”

Content such as games, prayers and activities is also available by download.

Summer with the Saints is described as “a unique, eight-episode program created by our St. Patrick staff with your family in mind.”

It’s designed for elementary school students who can “learn about a new saint and accompanying virtue through science, music, games, activities, prayer and more.”

Leadership Camp is for incoming 5th through 8th graders and is designed to build self confidence.

“Quizzes and reflection, as well as energetic, creative group work will get your student thinking about servant leadership,” the announcement said.
