It seems the COVID-19 pandemic has sparked creativity at the St. Patrick Catholic Community in Scottsdale.

Every Monday at 6:30 p.m, music director Paul Hillebrand will host an online program called “St. Patrick Studio (SPS).” SPS offers music, reflections and prayer, the church announced on its website.

The show features interviews with guests including Father Edward Beck, a Passionist priest and cable news commentator on religion. A parishioner and certified counselor, Jill McMahon, will also have a presentation on the show.

“All age groups are experiencing challenges dealing with the Covid-19 world,” the announcement said. “Jill will share some insights that could help the mental health of everyone.”

There will also be teachings, conversations and music concerts. The inaugural July 6 show, which can be found on Facebook, YouTube and the parish website, has been viewed 1,500 times so far, the church said.

"This is only the beginning of what we are offering online," the church said.
