The Society of St. Vincent de Paul has again teamed up with ABC15 and Bashas to provide the people they serve with something everybody needs to survive, water.

Each summer they give out roughly 17,500 bottles of water every week, St. Vincent de Paul said on the organization's website. Providing that much water comes with a pricey cost, which they estimate at $2,100 each week.

The ABC15 Water Drive benefiting St. Vincent de Paul aimed to help meet those needs. Money can be donated either online or at registers of Bashas' stores or Food City locations, St. Vincent de Paul said on its website.  Cases of water can also be dropped off at those stores, St. Vincent de Paul thrift store locations, or the during the ABC15 telethon. All funds collected will be put towards buying water.

The 2019 water drive provided four and a half months of water, which not only covered Arizona's heat season, but also helped keep people alive.
