Most Holy Trinity Catholic Parish in Phoenix announced on May 16 that it was opening its doors to in-person Mass.
The Diocese of Phoenix Catholic parish set protocols under guidelines from the diocese for its first phase of reopening for public Masses amid the COVID-19 pandemic, according to its Facebook page.
Most Holy Trinity Catholic Parish, located at 8620 N. Seventh St., Phoenix, has “added Sunday Masses to accommodate spacing,” said its May 16 post on its Facebook page.
“Attendance will be limited to 150 people so we ask that you arrive early,” the parish announced in its “A Healthy You A Healthy Church” post on Facebook.
Parishioners are asked to stay home if they are sick or aren’t comfortable attending. They are asked to wash their hands and/or use hand sanitizer before entering the church, observe social distancing of six feet, wear face masks and wipe the area where they were seated before and after Mass, according to the Facebook post.
Diocese of Phoenix Bishop Thomas Olmsted announced that public Masses could resume May 11, the Diocese of Phoenix’s website said.
