Kindness and hope shine brighter than fear is a message the St. Vincent de Paul Society wants to spread during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The coronavirus brought challenges for almost everyone. But it's been especially difficult for those who struggle to make ends meet and has depleted the funds they did have.
Shannon Clancy, the organization's associate executive director, encourages everyone on the St. Vincent de Paul website to be "all in" when it comes to kindness and supporting one another.
Clancy wrote on the society's website that joining this movement is easy.
Start by making a commitment. If you don't know where to start she suggested supporting St. Vincent's Family Relief Fund, which provides food and help with rent and utilities for families impacted by COVID-19.
By taking a photo of yourself with the "I'm All In" printable sign and posting it online, you can share kindness with the community. Spread the kindness with the hashtags #AllInThisTogether and #MakeKindnessViral.
Clancy said a specific Facebook frame was created to share on that social media app, officially titled "SVdP All In This Together."
